MEET YOUR COUNSELOR

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND Jennifer Meyer, MS, LPC-S, LCDC-I, has a lifelong passion for helping individuals navigate through life's challenges. She graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Illinois State University. She went on to pursue her Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University and graduated in 1998. Since then, she has worked extensively as both a counselor and Program Director for multiple outpatient programs. Jennifer became a Licensed Professional Counselor initially in 2002 and is currently licensed in both the states of Texas and Missouri. She is a strong advocate for suicide prevention, intervention, postvention and is a certified trainer. Additionally, Jennifer has provided clinical supervision for LPC Associates and graduate interns for the past 20 years. She LOVES working with new professionals and is dedicated to guiding new counselors as they develop their skills and their passion to pursue a career in counseling.
